Booking and Cancellation Terms and Conditions
The following conditions apply exclusively to reservations made directly through our website and not through external OTA portals such as Booking.com, Expedia.it and similar.
Policies and Conditions
- ReservationYou can make a reservation online by following the instructions provided on this page, or by sending an availability request via the contact page of our website and waiting for a response. After the request, a non-binding offer will be sent. The reservation is considered confirmed only after the payment of the deposit within 48 hours of our request and after confirmation of receipt of the payment. If the requested payment is not made within the indicated deadline, the guest will receive an email indicating the cancellation of the reservation. The reservation becomes binding for Aquarium Residence only after the completion of the bank transaction, i.e. when the funds have been transferred to our bank account. The guest will receive an email summarizing the reservation and payment, which must be shown at check-in. This implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit policies. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the confirmation details and to report any discrepancies as soon as possible. This communication must be made no later than 4 days after receiving the confirmation. After this period, we are not responsible for any inaccuracies. A valid form of identification must be presented for each guest upon arrival, including children and infants. To make changes to a reservation, please contact our front desk staff who will do their best to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee that such requests will be accommodated. If the reservation dates are changed to a period with a higher rate, the guest is responsible for paying the difference between the original reservation amount and the updated amount.
- Cancellation PolicyAll cancellations of reservations must be communicated in writing by email to prenotazioni@aquariumresidence.com. Up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival date: no charge; the deposit will be refunded within 21 days, less an administration fee of €20.00 (for which an invoice will be issued). After this period: the deposit will not be refunded. Cancellations or modifications made within 5 days of the scheduled arrival date: the full cost of the stay may be charged via bank transfer or credit card. Given the current global situation, we strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover any cancellations beyond the indicated deadlines.
- Early DepartureNo refunds will be given to guests who decide to interrupt their stay once it has begun. The full amount of the reservation remains due.
- No ShowRooms and apartments not occupied by 11:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, unless otherwise agreed, will be considered cancelled without notice. In case of no-show, Aquarium Residence will retain the deposit and reserves the right to charge the full amount of the stay via bank transfer or credit card provided at the time of booking.
- Check-In and Check-Out TimesCheck-in: 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM (local time) Check-out: by 10:00 AM (local time)
- Policy for ChildrenInfants under 2 years: free of charge. Children between 2 and 5 years: daily supplement of €8.00; they can sleep in their parents' bed or in a cot (subject to availability). Children over 5 years: a dedicated bed will be assigned; the room will be chosen accordingly to provide one bed per person. For further details, do not hesitate to contact us.
- Pet PolicySmall and medium sized dogs and cats are welcome at no additional cost in both rooms and apartments. Owners are fully responsible for any damage caused by their animals.
- GroupsWhen booking a group, the person making the booking is considered the group leader, confirms that they are authorised by all participants and accepts the Aquarium Residence Booking and Cancellation Policies. The group leader is responsible for full payment of all confirmed bookings. Any requests after the booking deadline must come directly and exclusively from the group leader. Bookings cannot be changed; in this case, a cancellation and new booking is required.
- Force MajeureManagement assumes no responsibility for interruptions due to blackouts, unexpected equipment failures or other force majeure events. We also decline any responsibility for damages caused by other guests, weather events, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, diseases or thefts.
Payment
- General ConditionsA deposit is required within 48 hours of the booking confirmation date. If the deposit is not received within the specified time frame, the booking will be considered void. The deposit amounts to 30% of the entire stay. In accordance with Article 1385 of the Italian Civil Code, the deposit will not be refunded in the event of cancellation after the deadline or in the event of a no-show.
- Payment Methods Accepted for Down PaymentBank transfer Credit card The balance of the reservation and any extras must be paid upon arrival at the property.
- For payments by bank transfer:Please use the following information: Account holder: Aquarium Residence srl Via degli Olmi, 18 – 74024 San Pietro in Bevagna (TA) IBAN: IT 28 J 02008 78921 000105958660 Please send a copy of the payment receipt by email to prenotazioni@aquariumresidence.com, indicating the booking code, telephone number and email address. You will receive a confirmation of receipt.
- For credit card payments:The deposit amount will be charged to the card provided at the time of booking within 12 hours. If the transaction is not successful, the guest will be informed and the reservation will be cancelled. In this case, Aquarium Residence will have no obligation towards the guest, and the room will be made available again for other guests.
